The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime was first discovered earlier this month when the innards of smartphone was tweeted by an Indian retailer. And now, the phone has finally been launched, packing everything we expected it to.
For pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G360) is listed on Amazon India and eBay India for INR 10,200 ($164) and INR 9,380 ($151) respectively. This version is equipped with a dual SIM slot as well as LTE and 3G.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime holds together a 4.5″ WVGA IPS touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 8GB of storage (expandable by up to 64GB microSD card), a 5-megapixel main camera, 0.3MP selfie unit and a 2000mAh battery.
In the United States, Boost Mobile is expected to offer the single SIM variant of the device as we’ve seen a SM-G360P variant of the smartphone approved at FCC with the carrier’s branding.
