Samsung proud of their loyal customers as 90% chose to get a replaced device and stick with the Note 7

Starting from the 2nd of September, Samsung started to roll out replacement units for their Galaxy Note 7 smartphones which were running on the faulty batteries that caused the explosions on them and overall, they have recorded a very surprising customer loyalty over the entire course of the process.

Although the process is still ongoing, Samsung has reported that over 90% of their own customers have opted to go for replacement units instead of asking for a full refund of their money, meaning that they won’t be losing as much as some analysts have projected in the past.

In the country of Singapore alone, the recall opened there 10 days ago and since then, they have received over 80% of all the smartphones that have already ben sold out on the region. Considering the major markets such as the United States and South Korea, the recall is not going as fast as expected with only 60% of units there having been recalled.

If you want to know if your unit is one of the new ones to roll out, just check for a small square symbol placed on the back of the box.
