Samsung is set to take it’s game to another level as it has taken it’s production line to far away Vietnam.
The South Korean company is said to be building a manufacturing plant that will focus mainly on producing displays. The plant will an estimated $1 billion US dollars to complete, an official source quoted.
The plant will manufacture display components for Samsung’s smartphones, TV, smartwatches and other devices. Other companies who choose to outsource displays from Samsung will be equally entertained at the new factory.
Samsung has already secured a license for the factory. That wasn’t expected to pose an uphill task as Samsung is one of the biggest foreign investors in Vietnam.
For the records, Samsung unveiled the first phone with a curved/bendable display in the Samsung Galaxy Round and that was in 2013. The new factory will help Samsung to improve on bendable display and other types of display the company is working on.
