Following the release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus device, South Korean tech company, Samsung, has been trying to make the global launch of its smart AI assistant, Bixby, global.
The tech company has in line with this officially brought Bixby service to India which means users of the Bixby supported Samsung devices can now get the Bixby voice.
The Bixby voice debuted after the arrival of the Galaxy S8 into the Indian market.
Recall that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were first launched in South Korea, the company’s home country before it was introduced into the US market and subsequently, into India.
The Bixby Voice worldwide official rollout has begun.
The India release of the smart AI assistant comes with support for various Indian accents and thus makes it a good tool for the Indian dialect and contextual use of words.
Samsung will in the coming months roll out the Bixby Voice to other regions although it has been speculated that areas including Germany might not get the smart AI Assistant until much later in the year.
