Samsung’s Exynos ModAP chipset goes official with LTE, quad-core CPU

Samsung has taken the wraps off it’s first-ever LTE-embedded processor in the Exynos ModAP system-on chip.

The Exynos ModAP comes with four cores of CPU  and can be configured to be compatible for both FDD, TDD and the mainstream LTE in most countries.

Samsung says the download speed of the chipset is up to LTE-A standards, but we are still to ascertain if the maximum downlink will point at 150 megabytes or 225 megabytes per second.

More updates are coming to this page, stay tuned as we the story unfolds.
