It’s been over a year since Samsung Electronics introduced the Samsung Galaxy Golden clamshell device. Now, the Korean phone maker is all set to release a successor for the flip phone.
According to a leaked manual belonging to the purported successor, the Samsung Galaxy Golden 2, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 CPU and it’s accompanying Adreno 330 GPU. There will also be 2GB of RAM though there was no mention of the device’s storage capability.
The Galaxy Golden 2 (SM-W2015) is having a dual micro SIM card slot, a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2MP front-facing selfie unit. The two sides of the smartphone’s flip will each be covered by a 4.6″ Super AMOLED 1,280 x 768 pixels touchscreen.
There’s no word yet on when the device will break cover but following the way the first Galaxy Golden was released only for China, the sequel might just follow suit.
