Such is the exclusive treatment of NTT Docomo subscribers in Japan . First, the Samsung Galaxy J was announced only for the Japanese carrier earlier today, and now, Sony has just unhatched the Xperia Z1F exclusively on the NTT Docomo too.
Before you start fuming, listen. Sony Xperia Z1F is just a more compact variant of the Xperia Z1, packing the specs on the original phone still. But why on NTT Docomo Japan first? Perhaps because that’s Sony’s homeland and where they have enjoyed the strongest support during good and trying times.
The only noticeable difference between the to Xperias is that Z1F sports a 4.3″ display while there’s a 5″ display on the Z1. Also, the Z1F carries a sealed 2300mAh battery instead of the 3000mAh one on the Z1.
Apart from that, there is a 20.7MP snapper, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2.2GHz quad-core Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage with microSD card slot available on both phones.
The Sony Xperia Z1 and and Sony Xperia Z1F also share the same water and dust proof and properties. The new phone is available in Black, White, Yellow, Pink colors.
