In case you are wondering why there was no Xperia M3, the answer is simply this: Sony likes to keep it generation of its Android devices in uniform. For example, the Sony Xperia E4 has been outed, Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z4 in the pipelline, and now the Xperia M4 Aqua.
