Ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2018 event scheduled to hold in February in Barcelona, the schematics for Sony’s upcomig smartphone, the Xperia X2 Pro has surfaced online.
The schematics of the yet-to-be-announced Sony smartphone which surfaced online recently hints at the possible features to be expected from the device upon its official announcement.
According to PhoneCorridor, the alleged Sony Xperia XZ Pro will come with a dual camera setup on the rear panel with the two lenses of the camera sensor horizontally aligned at the top left corner while the LED flash will be fitted beside the camera module.
Just below the Xperia branding will the NFC logo sit with no apparent fingerprint sensor on both the front and rear panels.
The lack of the fingerprint sensor tips that the tech company may be planning a possible work-around in the form of an embedded fingerprint scanner under the home button.
The screen on the front hints an edge-to-edge display with minimal bezels and a single selfie camera on the thin top bezel.
The device may most likely come into the market with a 5.7-inch 4K OLED edge-to-edge display with the 18:9 aspect ratio and under the hood feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space.
For the camera, the front selfie snapper is expected to be a 13MP sensor while the rear panel is expected to comprise of a 18MP + 12MP camera sensor.
