Sony is giving us two of a kind for everything that they are showcasing at MWC for this year, and we have another offering from the Xperia XZ line of devices, behind the announcement of new units in the XA family too. The new ones to grace the XZ species are none other than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZs units. Without further ado, why not let’s get to both of these units and see what they have to offer?
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is first on the list and what we have to first say about this is the improved Motion Eye camera technology – at least, that’s what Sony would like to call it.
The cameras can record videos at an impressive 960fps, and this allows it to get things n slower motion than any other camera unit would. Under the hood is the QUALCOMM snapdragon 835 chipset that Samsung has been hoarding for themselves, leading to delayed launch.
Under the hood is a 4GB of RAM and Android 7 software, all under the 5.5 inch of screen. To cap it all off, there is a 3230mAh battery which is said to be supported on the QUALCOMM QuickCharge 3.0 programme.
Expected to have a power button also acting as the fingerprint scanner – although not to be enabled for all regions – the IP68-rated unit would be sold in Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black colour options.
