Ahead of the official release of the Sony XZ1 and the smaller variant, the XZ1 Compact, renders of the smaller smartphone has surfaced online days after press renders of the bigger one, Xperia XZ1 surfaced online.
The latest leak leaves little to the imagination as regards what to expect on the device ahead of the scheduled launch on August 31.
A well-known leakster, Roland Quandt shared the images of the smartphone online showing similar design to that found in the Xperia XZ1.
The Compact edition also looks to be thicker as in the design found on the likes of the Xperia XA1 Ultra.
The device also features a horizontally aligned LED Flash on the back panel and comes packing a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio. The fingerprint scanner is expected to be enmeshed under the Power button which if fitted on the right edge of the device along with the volume rockers and the camera button.
The left side however features a microSD card/SIM card slot and on the front side is a pair of speakers placed on the top and bottom bezels.
The device which will come with the model number G8441 will pack a 4.6-inch screen with an HD resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels.
Under the hood is an expected 4GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 835 processor along with a 19MP camera on the rear side powered by a 2,800 mAh battery.
