Sony’s upcoming flagship is becoming realer as ever as we lay our hands on new pictures of the device.
Unlike the first leak which did not provide us concrete evidence of the alleged specs of the smartphone, our confidential source gave us screenshots to back up it’s claim.
The device is powered by a one certain Qualcomm MSM8974PRO-AC which we still don’t know if it’s a type of Snapdragon 801 chipset or a member of the new Snapdragon 805 family.
The Xperia Z3 will pack a 20MP rear camera and the screenshot clearly show the device running on Google’s latest Android version — Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Sony Xperia Z3 has a lot of similarities between the older Xperia Z2 in terms of appearance and will likely bear water and dust resistance like the latter.
The Xperia Z3 is expected to break cover by September, and the IFA is the main event for the mobile industry happening during that period so we shouldn’t be surprised to see it break cover there.
