Specs and press shots of Moto E (2015) inadvertently outed by BestBuy

The Motorola Moto E was a major hat trick in sales for the now Lenovo-owned phone company last year. Similarly, it’s successor is expected to follow suit when it finally breaks cover. However, we don’t have to wait till the device goes official before we get the details. US retailer, BestBuy, accidentally posted an entry for the upcoming Moto E (2015) on its website which has been pulled down ever since, but not before we were able to get scoops of information from the page.

Moto E 2015
According to the listing, the new Moto E will pack a slightly larger (4.5 inches) display than the first generation Moto E which was released last year with a 4.3-inch screen. Despite that, the resolution remains the same at qHD (540 x 960 pixels) while there are several notable improvements like LTE and naturally, Android 5.0 OS.

BestBuy listed the smartphone with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The dimensions are set at 130 x 67 x 11. 9mm while the plastic-clad body tips the scale at 143 grams. On the camera side, the device still uses a 5MP camera but there’s an addition of a front-facing VGA camera for taking of selfie photographs at the phone’s front.

There’s no word on when the device will officially break cover (even though we looked around for clues) but we are guessing the 2015 Moto E will be launched before the end of February.
