Sprint starts pushing out Jan security patch to the Galaxy S5 units on its network

For the Samsung Galaxy S5 units that are registered to the Sprint network, there is a new update that is being rolled out to you all, and this brings on board mainly the security fix for the month of January. This update is pretty light, weighing in at just 27MB and arrives with the version number G900PVPS3CQA2.
Every other information that you might need as to what this update is all about is contained in the attached image.

As we know, the security patch would not be the only thing in the update, but it is the main component. There would be a few performance updates and stability improvements also. However, the official changelog did not make mention of any of such changes.
As this is an OTA update, it could take a while for it to start hitting your units. If you are feeling impatient though, you could head over to your Settings dashboard and manually request an update.
