The 4G enabled Swipe Elite 2 smartphone was launched by Swipe Technologies in India and has been available via e-commerce website FlipKart exclusively starting from Sunday. The company also announced the exclusive preview sale for Uber cab riders from October 30 to November 7 in cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune this is believed to help the sale of the new smartphone and also aid it’s popularity and widespread acceptability in the Indian market with the Swipe Elite 2 smartphone’s pricing occupying the top rung among the least priced phones in the Indian market taking the number one cheapest spot from Lenovo A2010 which was formerly the cheapest phone in the Indian market.
The smartphone however runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and boasts of dual-SIM support (nano-SIM and micro-SIM slots). The screen is a 4.5-inch IPS display with a qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution and is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz speed armed with 1GB of RAM with an 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone spots an 8MP autofocus rear-facing camera with LED flash for lighting and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera all powered by its 1900mAh battery.
