Chinese tech brand, Xiaomi, has been reported to be planning a possible integration of the under-screen fingerprint scanner technology on the upcoming Mi Mix 2s.
The latest report comes hot on the heels of the latest leak of the device which has surfaced online weeks ahead of its official launch which has been scheduled to hold on March 27 in Paris, France.
The company has however confirmed that the Mi Mix 2s will come into the market packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood which brings the upcoming device up to speed with the likes of the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ and the Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact.
The tech company is rumored to be planning a possible integration of the under-display fingerprint scanner as hinted in the official poster of the upcoming device.
The live images which just surfaced online, if real, suggests that the fingerprint scanner may be located in the lower central part of the display.
What is however known is that the device will come into the market with a 6.01 inch OLED screen and pack the Sony IMX363 camera sensors on the front and back panels.
