Samsung couldn’t be any luckier as the US Army has just purchased 7000 phones from the Korean phone maker.Not in for the profit alone, but Samsung has received a profile boost — if the US Army can trust Samsung’s security, thousands of corporates out there will be asking themselves “why not?”
Samsung has had a supply pact to supply Nett Warrior (a Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone with chest-mounting equipment which can be used by soldiers in the battle ground) devices to the military and the new order is part of the deal.
This report will send more woes to the BlackBerry camp as the US military used to trust the Canadians for phones supplies.
