Verizon rolls out update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+

It has not been very long since Verizon successfully updated the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge units that were being carried on their network and since they have done that to a reasonable extent now, the mobile carrier has now started to roll out a new update which is set to cater to the needs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

The new update brings exciting new features on board and carrying a build version of VRU2BPG5, it has now brought on board even better mean of sharing files between users and a Barcode Beaming support.
From the changelog, the function of the Beaming Barcode service is to aid the recognition rate of your device to various stuffs such as on-device coupons, loyalty cards and so much more.

As regards the new and improved method to share files and media that we have talked about, the three new methods included are Profile Sharing, Event Sharing and Simple sharing. While the first one enables you to share files and profiles, the second is used for sharing events with your contacts and inviting them to join (like the Facebook feature) and the last enables sharing of files that are up to 1GB.

While the Amazon Music application was removed from the smartphones, it has been replaced with the Advanced Calling feature exclusive to the carrier.
