Vertu unveils high end luxury smartphone, names it Constellation

Vertu is at it again, and of anyone here is familiar with them, you would know that they specialise in the release of luxury smartphones. Branded ‘Constellation’ too, this one actually comes with high end specs, and we must say that this is a rarity when it comes to luxury units.

One other thing about the new handset from Vertu is that it comes with support for dual SIM, and this is like a continuation of habit for the maker.

The Vertu Constellation comes with 5.5 inches of QHD screen, and impresses with a rear 12MP camera unit which can take images and videos in 4K resolution. At the helm of operations is the QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipset which is paired to 4GB of RAM and a massive 128GB internal storage space.

With that amount of space on a unit, it is rare that you want some additional space, but in the case you are faced with such an option, there is a microSD card slot on board.
We know that Vertu is not so big when it comes to software updates, so we weren’t exactly happy when we found out that this one would run the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 instead of the latest Nougat serving.

To make the blow softer, it does have a pretty strong 3220mAh battery which has support for wireless charging. There is no information on prices yet, but it would be available from mid-February.
