BBM has set it’s foot on Android, and so it has on iOS. The thrills, the cheers all seems to be over now, as users get used to it as just another chat application.
Andrew Bocking, vice president of BlackBerry Messenger has said that voice-calling and video support will be available on Android’s and iOS version of BBM in a few months’ time. He added that Blackberry will also add BBM Channels a feature which Blackberry plans to monetize BBM with, through the help of ads.
Blackberry Messenger was downloaded 10 million times in it’s first 24 hours of availability on iOS and Android.
