Xiaomi, the Chinese tech company which recently released the Mi 5 look alike under the guise of Mi A1 which is said to be an Android One device has revealed its plans to unveil yet another device, the Mi 7.
However, fans will not be getting the Xiaomi Mi 6 successor this year as the tech company has confirmed that it will be bringing the device into the market only in 2018.
This comes as the tech company has been rumored to have planned an event for September 11 where it will unveil the high-end Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 device which is expected to come packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset although Qualcomm itself confirmed a Snapdragon 835 processor for the upcoming smartphone which will also feature a dual camera setup.
However, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to hit the market next year with some pretty impressive and top of the line specs, one of which is the processor.
According to information made available, the Mi 7 should pack the Snapdragon 845 chipset under a 6-inch AMOLED display.
It has also been rumored that the device may come packing between 6GB of RAM and 8GB or come in variants.
