Following the launch of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Mi Note 3 device some weeks ago, the tech company has been revealed to be planning on the official unveiling of the Redmi Note 5.
Information regarding the upcoming device suggests that Xiaomi is planning on using the Helio P25 processor under the hood of the upcoming device.
The Redmi Note 5 which will come as a successor to the best selling smartphone from the tech company, Redmi Note 4, will come packing a dual camera setup on the back panel.
The Redmi Note 5 which has been regarded to be coming as an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 5A which was released recently has yet again leaked with the latest leak confirming some of the key specs to expect from the device.
A Weibo post which was recently spotted indicates that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come packing a 5.5-inch full HD display with a screen resolution pegged at 1080p. Under the hood, there will be the MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at a speed of 2.6GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM. Indications however exist that there may be a 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM variant of the device.
For optics, the Redmi Note 5 will come into the market packing a 12MP camera sensor on the front panel and a dual camera setup on the back panel consisting of one 16MP and another 5MP camera sensor.
The Redmi Note 5 will come running on the Android 7.0 Nougat OS powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
However the Redmi Note 5 will enter India packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset under the hood.
