While no official word has been put out by smartphone company Xiaomi about the much expected Mi Pad 2 Tablet, Geekbench benchmark listing online has indicated the device will be running an Intel X5-Z8500 chipset which is clocked at a speed of 2.24GHz and on it will be found 2GB of RAM with the tablet running the Android 5.1 Lollipop version of OS.
As stated on Geekbench Benchmarks, the Mi Pad 2 will feature significant updates and features as compared to its predecessor as the single performance core test shows a score of 985 and 3268 score on the multi-core test. It is important to note that the Mi Pad 2 predecessor, the Mi Pad was powered by Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset with the scores of 1100 and 3400 on the single core and Multi-core performance tests respectively.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is expected as rumoured to have a screen size of 7.9 inches as it’s predecessor and is expected to be unvieled with the company’s Mi 5 smartphone which is rumoured to be set for launch by December 3 although not official word as pertaining the launch has been issued out by the smartphone company. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to run the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC on its 5.5 inch QHD display equipped with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16GB which is further expandable using microSD card. The smartphone also features a 16MP rear facing camera and an 8MP on the front panel.
