Following the official announcement of the latest Android OS, Oreo, from Google last week, there have been several rumors regarding smartphones eligible to run the OS.
BlackBerry was first in line to launch the OS tonite smartphones with promises that more updates will be rolled out in coming days.
Following BlackBerry’s update rollout, HTC confirmed the U11 will be getting the update as well as Nokia, however, joining in the league is Xiaomi as android users and developers have just confirmed the Oreo ROM rollout for the Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 4.
The report which surfaced online further revealed that Xiaomi is already in the works for a custom ROM for both devices so they don’t get left out in the change.
Builders from XDA-developers further noted that the OmniROM for both devices have since been released for official use.
Other device have been hinted to be getting the ROM soon too with the inclusion of the Mi 5S Plus.
