Earlier this week, we informed you of a listing by an almost unknown e-commerce website of Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 4.
We outed our optimism about the legibility of the listing and the alleged Xiaomi Mi 4 listing that was posted in the entry.
Today, we got our hands on the real thing. We have real photos of Xiaomi’s next flagship device. The renders, sent in from China, show the yet-to-be announced smartphone posing in white and black colors.
Xiaomi is going to unveil the Mi 4 smartphone on July 22nd and different sources are already telling us what to expect.
The first division says that the phone will bear a 5.5-inch Full HD, a Snapdragon 801 processor and 13MP camera with a 2MP front-facer.
The other source says it’s a 5.5″ Quad HD display with a Snapdragon 801 chip and 16MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera.
Both sets say are indifferent on the RAM and phone’s physical screen size. Both of them agree it’s a 3GB RAM and a 5.5-inch display but differ on other aspects raising questions on whther the phone will come in two steps — one higher and one lower spec’d version.
We have seen this happen with several other flagships before, so it wouldn’t come as much surprise if Xiaomi outs two Mi 4 phones on Tuesday.
