Chinese tech company, Xiaomi, has officially launched the Special Edition Mi 5X into the market.
The launch which held in China witnessed the smartphone debuting in the Red color variant and coming into the market with bumped up specs.
The smartphone which has been released for pre-registration both on online and offline platforms has been reported to be coming into the market at an approximate of 1,499 Yuan starting from November 1.
The Mi 5X Special Edition as earlier stated comes in only the red color variant as against the Mi 5X which is available in four color variants including Gold, Black, Rose Gold and Red.
The Mi 5X Special Edition comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with FHD resolution pegged at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels with the octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor running under the hood paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM which can further be expanded using a microSD card.
The device comes packing a dual 12MP + 5MP camera on the back panel along with a fingerprint sensor mounted also on the back panel.
