Chinese tech company, Xiaomi, which was reported to be looking into a partnership deal with Qualcomm to bring the wireless charging feature on its smartphones may have hit a big break as latest information reveals that the tech company may be launching the expected Mi 7 flagship with the wireless charging feature.
Speculations however remains high as regards the features to expect on the upcoming smartphone especially following Xiaomi’s enrollment in the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) back in September, 2017.
The Mi 7 flagship is expected to debut into the market packing the Qi wireless charging feature along with a characteristic glass back.
Sources close to the tech company however maintained that the Mi 7 will support charging up to 7.5W which comes identical to Apple’s latest iPhones capabilities.
For specs, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to come into the market packing a Samsung-produced 6.01-inch tall 18:9 aspect ratio screen with dual 16MP camera sensors on the back panel and under the hood running on the S845 processor, same as on the Galaxy S9 and S9+ and paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
