Xiaomi has made much fuss about the upcoming Mi Mix 2 and it appears the tech company is just not done with whetting the appetite of its users.
The tech company which was rumored to be planning a possible launch of the next flasgship device on the same day as the Apple iPhone 8 slated for September 12 has however confirmed the release date for the upcoming and much expected smartphone.
Xiaomi in a latest release confirmed that the Mi Mix 2 device will be officially unveiled on September 11, a day before Apple’s big day.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to come packing thinner bezels and is said to be bringing 3D facial recognition support.
Under the hood, benchmarking information which surfaced online revealed that the device will come running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and running on the Android 7.1.1 OS.
For memory configuration, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected come packing 128GB and 256GB onboard storage memory variants under its 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2540×1440 pixels powered by a 4,500mAh battery.
