Ahead of the official release of Chinese tech company, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 smartpone, Chinese certification website, 3C, has leaked the specs to be expected on the device.
The latest leak comes following the December release of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus which triggered hints at the possible arrival of the Note variant of the smartphone.
According to the listing provided by 3C, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come into the market packing 4GB of RAM under its 5.99-inch display.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 5 will come into the market powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with an onboard storage space of 64GB.
On the camera front, the 18:9 aspect ratio display device will come packing a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 16 MP + 5 MP sensors while the front panel will host an 8MP sensor.
The Redmi Note 5 will come packing a battery capacity pegged at 4,100 mAh with 18W Fast Charge support and aslso supports facial recognition for addes security.
A cheaper variant of the device will also come packing a Snapdragon 630 paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.
