Ahead of the official release of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 device, the tech company’s upcoming smartphone has been spotted on benchmarking website showing off the specs to be expected from the device.
According to the listing of the device on the benchmarking website, the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will hit the market powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood.
The device also tows in the line of the 18:9 aspect ratio display and will come packing dual camera sensors on the rear panel.
Geekbench listing of the device however indicates that the Redmi Note 5 will come with the Qualcomm MSM8952 processor known as the Snapdragon 617 which packs eight Cortex-A53 cores.
The Geekbench listing of the device however appears to have messed up the chipset model number as the scores on the single and multiple core tests for the device does not match that of the processor supposed to be loaded on the device instead, the scores come much similar to that of the Moto G4.
Speculations however points that the Redmi Note 5 may come packing 3GB of RAM under its 5.5-inch screen with a dual 16MP + 5MP camera sensor on the back panel and a 4,000mAh battery capacity.
