Xiaomi recently confirmed the release date for its high-end upcoming smartphone, the Mi Mix 2 for September 11 and the tech company has also revealed that the device will not be coming into market alone.
Recall that the tech company had caused a little stir after claiming the Mi Mix 2 will come packing the same processor, Snapdragon 836, an improvement over the 835 found on the Galaxy S8.
However, Qualcomm hinted that the tech company may not be getting the Snapdragon 836 chipset adding that the 835 will most likely be loaded on the device.
Coming ahead of official release of the smartphone, Xiaomi has hinted through its president Lin Bin that the device will drop along with a second product.
The product which is expected to accompany the Mi Mix 2 into the market however has been speculated to be the Mi Note 3, the successor device to the Mi Note 2 which was released last year.
The Mi Mix 2 has been rumored to be coming into the market with a facial recognition feature although this is yet to be confirmed by the tech company.
