Dubbed the Xolo Play 8X-1100, this all-new 5″ HD smartphone comes with a 13MP AF rear camera with high sensitivity Sony Exmor RS Sensor and LED flash. In the front sits a 5MP front camera with BSI Sensor and 88 degree wide view angle.
Running smoothly on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, with the company’s own Hive UI slin decorating the user experience, the Play 8X-1100 rocks a 1.7GHz octa-core processor based on ARM’s Cortex-A7 framework. The phone packs a MediaTek MT6592 chipset as well as 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage.
Pricing for the Xolo Play 8X-1100 isn’t far-fetched. The phone was listed online at Xolo’s dedicated e-commerce website at the price of 14,999 rupees which sums at $248 US dollars using the current exchange system.
