Xolo Q500 unveiled with 4 display, Android 4Xolo has unveiled a new 4-inch display phone in anticipation of the forthcoming holiday season.

The Xolo Q500 packs 4 inches of display at 480 x 800 pixels resolution, summing up to 233 pixels per inch(PPI). It’s not clear why Xolo chose the older Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system for the Q500 when 4.2 and 4.3 had been there for ages, no need mentioning the all-new KitKat (Android 4.4). A 4GB expandable storage is also in the smartphone.

Coming to internals, Xolo Q500 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225Q S4 Play processor, quad-core Cortex-A5 clocked at 1.2GHz, Adreno 203 graphics processor and 1GB of RAM.

The phone features 5-megapixel rear and 0.3-megapixel front-facing cameras with the former able to record 720p motion pictures.

The whole pack is supplied power by a 1450mAh battery and Xolo put up a suggested retail price of 7999 Indian Rupees (128.21 US Dollars) for the Xolo Q500.
